The spray angle at low liquid pressure is wide enough to
cover a large area of the lower part of the bent pipe in
order to cool the gas effectively by an increased area
of contact with the gas.
At high liquid pressure, the spray angle reduces so as
to allow the sprayed ammonia to flow smoothly into the
dry main without spraying the bent pipe wall, thready improving
draft effects. |
